Recommended Mods for Raiding in World of Warcraft
Having spent some time now doing them on a well, daily basis, I've found that there is a cyclical approach you can take to doing the dailies on the Sunwell Island. First of all I take the portal from Shattrath and pick up every daily. If your server is beyond unlocking the gem merchant, there should be 10. I do them in the following order, maximizing time and ideally getting the whole thing done in 30 minutes or less. 1. Do the quests involving the demon portal behind the armory. There are 2 quests here. One is Know your Ley-lines and you need to get close to the big green portal and right click the blue crystal in your inventory to get credit. The other involves killing 6 demons and then impale the Emmisary of Hate with a banner that is in your inventory, goldish looking. The 6 demons are easy to kill, the Emmisary of Hate spawns every few minutes and will probably already be dead. This is ok as you can still impale him with the banner, even if you didn't kill him. He's a large blueish demon. 2. Once you have done those, ride around the side of Magister's Terrace to get to the Greengill Coast (area with all the naga.) There are 4 quests you can do here. One, which should be done around the whole island is the gathering of blood berries, they look like the manalicious berries from Netherstorm and should be sparkling. You need 5 of the. The second involves killing the female nagas and getting the orbs of control off of them. The drop rate is 100 percent so just kill 4-6 of them, depending on how good of a shot you are. Then, right click the orbs to create an area of effect circle and target the groups of neutral murlocs. You should be able to hit 2-3 at a time and you need to free 10. Third, kill the male nagas until you get 3 keys that you will use to open 3 of the chests scattered around the coast. You need 3 ore for the quest and there is always 1 ore in each chest. Finally, you'll see a shrine sticking out of the water. This is second point for your leyline quest. On a side note, there are all kinds of adamantite and herbalism nodes here if you have a gathering profession. 3. Now, ride around the Sunwell Plateau dodging the demons from the bombing quest until you get to the undead. You need to kill the undead until you get 4 mana remnants. At the same time you should be killing the golden robot looking things and using the crystal that looks like a fishing lure in your inventory on them. 5 of them to complete that quest. Loot the sentries before you use the crystal though because once they are powered up they become non-lootable. 4. Now, you should have made your way to the area full of blood elves. You need to kill the warlocks, bloodknights, and marksmen. The marksmen (you need 3) can be found behind the furthest right building and spawn in groups of 3. The warlocks (I forget their actual name) spawn all over the place including channeling areas. Don't forget to kill their imp as it does a decent amount of damage. The Blood Knights hang around the large building containing the huge channeling crystal. All of thse drop lots of sunfury signets and arcane tomes which can either be used for faction or sold on the auction house, as well as netherweave and greens. Finally, go into the large open building and use the blue crystal near the large bloodcrystal the warlocks are channeling from to finish the ley-line quest. 5. The last 2 quests are flying quests. You have 2 bombs in your inventory. The Dead Scar bomb looks like a starfire icon. The ship bomb looks like a large flame. Equip the starfire bomb on a hotkey, (I use 0), and talk to the guy standing beside the flight path. Take the top option and you'll fly to the dead scar. There, you need to rapid fire the bombs to kill 2 pit lords, 3 Eradar sorcerors, and 10 of the other demons there. The pit lords are easy to hit but take 2 shots each to kill so try to hit them from far out and then when your right on top of them. The Sorcerors are on the walkways and towers that line the Sunwell Plateau buildings. The other demons are all over the place. DO NOT FORGET THAT YOU CAN ROTATE YOUR CAMERA AND HIT DEMONS BEHIND YOU. THIS IS A KEY REASON WHY PEOPLE TAKE MORE THEN 1 RUN TO COMPLETE THE QUEST. You should have no problem finishing this quest in one flight. The final quest involves bombing the sails of 3 ships. Again remember you can rotate the camera but you should have no problem hitting them. Just remember to select the flame looking bomb instead of the one you used in the dead scar. You will then land and have to kill 6 blood elf reinforcemnents. There are 3 ships that you can swim between if any one ship is overcrowded. Once this is done you can either fly the dragonhawk back to the docks or just swim. CONGRATULATIONS, YOU JUST COMPLETED 10 DAILY QUESTS IN 30 MINUTES AND MADE SOME NICE GOLD AND REP!! On a side note, if you like Warcraft TCG, a good place to get the cards is at www.warcraftcards.info. It keeps track of the various ebay auctions involving the cards and is constantly updated. It even has information and tips on the game. |
