Messaging friends when your not at your computer If you are at someone elses computer or a public computer and need to reach someone through a messenger such as AIM or Yahoo IM, its a real pain or even not possible to install the messenger and then worry about the privacy issues of the remnants of your conversation staying on that computer. Just visit this useful website, www.meebo.com. There you can use their web based client to log into any of the popular messengers. While you still can't be guaranteed there is no log of the conversation on the computer in the form of a keylogger or other software, its safer then the normal messenger. You can even register with them and keep an online log of the conversation should you wish to. I've found this site to be extremely useful and functional, and probably use it on a weekly basis if I am on a computer that is not my own as messengers are so ingrained now into our societies methods of communication.
