A Way to Make Money By Doing Internet Searches
A friend clued me into this site a couple of days ago. Its a friend I trust so I tried it out. Its called My Search Funds and its a company out of the UK. You sign up for an account with them and they give you a search bar or you can make their search engine your homepage. It seems legit. You just use that search bar for your normal searching, it searches Google, and you basically get paid per search. I don't know how much yet, I'm waiting to find out but I know that he recently made about $25 from doing normal searching. Here's the thing, their method of payment is to your Paypal Account in British Pounds. If you are in the United States like I am, its a very good conversion rate right now of British Pounds to Dollars, something like 2.5. So, if you make 10 British Pounds, thats $25 USD. One thing I have noticed though is if you do a whole lot of searching they will basically accuse you of being a bot or of click fraud. I had this happen the first day I used it. Because I'm working on optimizing websites I do a tremendous amount of searching for terms, categories for my stores, etc. The first day I did about 150 searches and they took them away as click fraud. I have e-mailed them and am awaiting a response, hopefully they will reinstate the searches. But, if your just a normal user that does maybe 5-10 searches a day for dog food or that one House DVD you don't have yet, I'm sure you'd be fine. The site claims that most people make at least 50 British Pounds a year which would be over $100 USD. I run a lot of anti-virus sofware, spyware software, rootkit detectors, etc. so it doesn't appear that they are installing anything bad on my computer. They're evidently just in the advertisement, marketing research business so unless you don't want them knowing where your surfing, why not make some money doing what you do anyway.
